Kicking off the third and final iteration of Per°Form Open Academy of Arts and Activations — live gathering of Per°Form Fellows, intersectional practitioners across diverse disciplines of curation, research, education, visual culture, performance presenting their strategies for activating contexts and communities — The Mentor Series features eminent thought leaders in the arts in-conversation on trends, negotiations and directions in their respective fields.
Donation Ticketing
Accessibility is a core value of Per°Form Open Academy. Tickets to all programmes at Per°Form Open Academy will be on a donation basis, starting at a minimum suggested donation of $10 per ticket.

About Şermin Langhoff
Şermin Langhoff has been the artistic director of the Maxim Gorki Theatre Berlin since 2013, her directorship has currently been prolonged until 2026. After her first career as editor in a publishing house, she worked as assistant director and producer for many years in film with renowned directors like Fatih Akin. After first encounters with theatre at the Volksbühne am Rosa Luxemburg Platz she continued her artistic work as curator at Berlin's Hebbel am Ufer (HAU) theatres from 2003 to 2008. In 2008 Langhoff founded the Ballhaus Naunynstraße in Berlin's Kreuzberg district and established the concept of post-migrant theatre there until 2013. Under her artistic directorship in 2014 and 2016, the Gorki was voted “Theatre of the Year” by the German-speaking critics in Theater heute magazine's survey and Gorki productions have been recognized with invitations to the prestigious German Theatertreffen and several international festivals. Şermin Langhoff received many awards for her personal achievements in culture and arts including the Bundesverdienstkreuz (Federal Cross of Merit).

About Per°Form Open Academy of Arts and Activations
Per°Form Open Academy of Arts and Activations (POA) returns for its third and last iteration in February 2025. It is a live gathering of eminent thought leaders in the arts in-conversation on trends, negotiations and directions in their respective fields, indigenous artists from Nepal in public engagement through gatherings, dialogue and workshops, and in-studio engagement and ideation of dance in exhibition settings
With a 22-day programming, this year's POA expands its range beyond previous iterations with The Mentor Series, Opening Studio, and Closing Studio.
